Nova Institute of Periodontics continues to show continuous month-over-month referral growth and is running ahead of production targets for the year. Vince confirmed the office is busy and the team has a strong handle on its marketing and referral program. A July 4th outreach to referring partners is planned for next week, with the next formal event tentatively set for September.
The digital referral form is functional for most referring offices, but a meaningful limitation has been identified: the form does not currently accept Dexis-format files, which is the X-ray format used by a number of referring practices. Vince has already communicated this to the appropriate contact. For offices that use this format, the workaround is to direct them to email referrals instead โ but this creates double work for those offices and undermines the efficiency benefit of the form. Jayme will follow up with Christy to explore whether the accepted file types can be expanded to include Dexis. Until resolved, the form's utility remains limited for this subset of referring offices.
Vince noted that the study club speaker line item appears to be missing from the marketing budget Jayme provided. Jayme clarified that study club programming is now categorized under education rather than marketing, so those funds are likely visible in a separate P&L line. Vince acknowledged this is his working assumption as well, but noted the practice has not received a current P&L to cross-reference. Jayme flagged that the marketing budget shared was set in September of last year and does not fully reflect current actual spend โ for example, the Washington Capitals event was not executed, leaving approximately $6,000 available, and some events occurred in different months than originally budgeted. Jayme's intent in sharing the budget was to provide visibility and reduce delays, not to suggest the budget is finalized or constraining.
