Doctor Interviews For Website Content: With the practice's SEO moving in-house at the end of October, the AI-guided doctor interviews are the top priority. Each doctor's interview is turned into an individual brand voice and new website content to support search visibility. Interviews from Dr. Godat, Dr. King, and Dr. Bachna are still outstanding.
Referral Performance Review: Year-to-date referrals are 2,119 versus 2,483 last year (-14.66%), an improvement from -16.19% at our last meeting. The previous 90 days are essentially even (658 vs. 661). The Memphis location has declined most months this year but is up in October, and October overall is rebounding well.
New-Patient Access For Dr. King: Dr. King's referrals are down 27%. He sees patients in Collierville on Mondays and Tuesdays, which are booking about three weeks out, and currently has no dedicated new-patient time. We discussed adding a new-patient block or an additional Collierville day so referred patients can be seen sooner.
Balancing Events And Referral Outreach: Lindsey is managing monthly hygiene study club recruitment alongside her core referral-relationship visits. Many SGA periodontal practices run hygiene study clubs about three times a year, which could free up more time for referral outreach.

Marketing Initiatives Discussed

Hygiene Study Club: The October study club reached the 50-attendee goal after Lindsey added 20 registrations in one week. The next session is November 22.
Collaborative Study Club: The November 5 session moves to Bog & Barley (from Seasons 52) and is the second in Dr. King's series. Registrations are already ahead of the last session.
Lunch & Learns: Lunch & Learns are booked in November to introduce Dr. Bachna to referring offices, plus today's Lunch & Learn with Dr. Fox's team.
Referring Provider Outreach: Lindsey will focus on established referrers who haven't sent a patient in 90+ days, newly referring providers (including Philip Friday, Caleb Thursday, and Frank Hampson), and one-time referrers who haven't referred since 2025. One February top referrer (11 referrals) has dropped off significantly, and we want to understand why.
Holiday Referral Gift: Lindsey proposed a St. Jude holiday gift to re-engage Memphis referring offices. Final sign-off on holiday plans comes from John Mezick.

Wins & Opportunities

Active referring providers are up to 217 from 211, which means outreach is reaching doctors who hadn't referred before. The year-to-date gap narrowed by about a point and a half since our last meeting, and October is trending up. Events usually show results 6–8 weeks later, so the September ribbon-cutting should keep helping into November. Strong early registration for the November 5 Collaborative Study Club suggests the new venue and Dr. King's series are working.
