SLT Review
Prepared by Amy McNeill · VP, Field Marketing · September 2026
Executive Proposal

Yext Enterprise
Consolidation

Consolidating 4 vendors across 249 practices into a unified listings, reviews, and social platform.
SGA
Executive Summary
The recommendation in one page
The Ask

Approve consolidation onto Yext across 249 practices

Retire PromoRepublic (157 locs) and Swell (91 locs), expand existing Gen4 Yext contract from 96 → 249 entities, add Social + MCP.

The Investment

$138,195 Year 1 (gross portfolio spend)

$46.25 / practice / month, all-in. Net-new spend is materially lower once existing Yext + PromoRepublic + Swell are subtracted (see slides 6–7).

The Outcome

One vendor, one API, one contract, full coverage

Listings, reviews, social, and analytics across every practice — with programmatic access to plug into our Railway + Claude Code stack.

SGA
Current State: Fragmented Coverage
Four different tools, uneven scope, no unified control layer
VendorCoverageScopeNote
Yext96 practicesListings + Reviews + Analytics (Gen4 side)Contract active — SGA West locations
PromoRepublic157 practicesSocial scheduling + FB/GBP review responseNo listings; no analytics API; dashboard-only
Swell91 practicesReview response (subset)Overlapping coverage with PromoRepublic
Manual / NoneRemaining locationsAd-hoc GBP + review response by teamHidden labor cost, inconsistent execution
The core problem: no single platform gives us listings, social, reviews, and programmatic control across all 249 practices — and we are paying for overlapping coverage across three vendors today.

What Changes with This Proposal
Entity Count
96 (Gen4) → 249 (full SGA portfolio)
+153 net-new entities on SGA East and Specialty
Modules
Existing suite + Social (new) + Scout AI (new)
Adds social scheduling and MCP for programmatic control
Vendor Relationships
Yext expanded; PromoRepublic + Swell retired
Consolidates 3 tools into 1 contract
Reseller
Same Pulse / Strategy Collective agreement
Governed by existing April 2026 MSA
The proposal in this deck is an EXPANSION of an existing Yext agreement — not a new vendor decision or a net-new $138K commitment.
SGA
True Net Cost Framework
$138K is the gross portfolio spend — actual net-new is materially lower
Net-New Spend
$138,195minus( Current Gen4 Yext base + PromoRepublic + Swell + Manual GBP labor )
Cost CenterEstimated AnnualConfidenceAction Needed
Current Gen4 Yext contract (96 entities)~$40–70K (est.)Needs pull from JoshConfirm current base spend
PromoRepublic (157 practices)~$32–45KPer Apr 2023 order formTerminate at renewal
Swell (91 practices)UnknownNeeds pullConfirm renewal date
Manual GBP labor (~150 practices)UnquantifiedHidden costEstimate hours × loaded rate
Before finalizing SLT numbers: pull current Gen4 Yext base spend from Finance and confirm Swell renewal terms. The real question is the delta, not the sticker.

Head-to-Head Capability Comparison
What Yext delivers that our current stack does not, at 249-practice scope

At $21.25 / loc / month for Yext Ultimate alone, incremental spend is modest — every dollar above delivers capability our current stack does not have.

Technical Fit for Our Automation Stack
The proposal answered our Railway + MCP + Claude Code integration questions
✓
Bulk fan-out

One API call schedules the same post across a targeted subset of locations, with per-location copy/media variants.

✓
Sentiment + tagging in API

Review sentiment and topic tags returned in the API response, not UI-only.

✓
Webhooks

New reviews (~2 min latency) and social post-status (~30 sec) delivered directly to our endpoints.

✓
Analytics catalog

24-month rolling history, T+1 freshness, publisher-level breakdown for GBP, FB, Bing, Apple.

✓
Rate limits

5,000/hr Management API + 1,000/hr Analytics — flat within-limit, no per-post/per-response overages.

✓
MCP access

Included via Scout license across all 249. Same API-key auth. Yext-hosted, no separate MCP metering.

✓
Bulk entity creation

JSON via Content API or CSV upload — 153 new entities pre-loaded before GBP handoff.

✓
GBP auth at scale

One-click manager-access accept per location. Unclaimed profiles handled in parallel.

Bottom line: every technical dependency in our automation stack (Railway, Claude Code, MCP, webhooks) is supported. Five items remain to close before signature — see next slide.

Open Items Before Signing
Five items to close during the September 2 walkthrough with Pulse + Yext
1
MCP tool inventory in writing

Proposal defers this to an NDA'd call. Get the complete tool list — MCP is admittedly a subset of REST today.

2
AI generation volume thresholds

"Included at typical volumes" is a soft cap. Confirm the numeric ceiling and overage rate before signing.

3
Full publisher response matrix

Confirm which publishers accept API responses (Healthgrades, Vitals, WebMD) beyond GBP + Facebook.

4
Analytics metrics catalog

Validate that every metric on our patient-funnel scorecard is present before contract.

5
S3 push / webhook-stream analytics export

Proposal says "available on request" — get Dakota's target endpoint confirmed and enabled.

All five items are on the September 2 walkthrough agenda with Pulse (Nicole) and a Yext solutions engineer.

Contractual Considerations
Standard SaaS terms with a reseller layer — no dealbreakers, but visible to CFO before signature
Reseller structure

Contract is with Strategy Collective (Pulse), not Yext directly. Governed by our existing April 2026 MSA — same paper as the current Gen4 agreement, so no new master terms to negotiate.

Term + termination

Annual, non-refundable, no mid-term exit. 60-day non-renewal notice required. Optional 24-month rate lock available at signature.

Renewal escalation

Standard renewal fee increase up to 7% (or Yext's pass-through, whichever is greater). The 24-month rate lock avoids any Y2 increase entirely.

Assignment

If the Pulse–Yext partnership terminates, contract may be assigned to Yext directly or another authorized reseller without our consent. Low likelihood, worth noting.

Suspension + payment

Quarterly invoicing in advance, 30-day payment terms. Pulse may suspend service if any invoice is 30+ days past due. Flag to AP for the new billing cadence.

Data + governing law

Client Content (our data) processed by Yext under their Terms. Pulse is not a HIPAA business associate. Governing law: Texas / Harris County (Pulse's state).

Next Steps

What we need from SLT this week

1

Confirm we proceed to the Sept 2 technical walkthrough

Amy + Dakota + Scott attend. Close five open items in writing.

2

Finance pulls current Gen4 Yext base spend

Josh + AP surface the actual net-new delta before final signature.

3

CFO signature on the 24-month rate lock

Locks Y2 pricing, saves ~$9.6K vs. standard renewal escalation.
